Cost per click (CPC)

OmOmesta team·September 15, 2026

Definition

CPC is advertising spend divided by the number of clicks.

Cost per click is advertising spend divided by the number of clicks. Spending $50 for 100 clicks gives a $0.50 CPC.

Keep the definition consistent

A platform may report all clicks or link clicks. Use the same click definition and date range when comparing performance.

Cheap clicks are not the final goal

Review what people do after clicking. A campaign with a higher CPC can still have a lower cost per qualified lead or booking.
