Customizing dunning email copy

Every dunning email in Omesta is editable. Copy, subject line, button text, timing.

Template variables

Use {{customer_first_name}}, {{plan_name}}, {{amount}}, {{last_4}}, {{retry_date}}, {{update_card_url}}. These get substituted at send time.

Tone presets

Three one-click presets: Friendly, Direct, Formal. Each adjusts copy across all five default emails simultaneously. You can further edit any individual email afterward.

AI-assisted rewrites

Click "Rewrite with AI" on any email and describe the tone you want ("more urgent," "more B2B," "add social proof"). The model returns three variants; you pick one or edit further.

Testing

Send yourself a test with real variable substitution using the Test send button. Changes to live templates take effect on the next retry cycle. They never modify in-flight sequences.
